Introduction
Twin Lakes is a U.S. Forest Service property dominated, as the name suggests, by two lakes - Indian Lake to the west, Lake Celina to the east. Most visitors stick to the lakes.
Trails
Ambitious hikers can attempt the thirteen-plus mile Two Lakes Trail. Both lakes lie within the loop formed by the main tread, but a connector trail passing between the lakes allows for shortcuts or a figure eight trip.
There are multiple trail access points along the paved road that connects the entrance station and the Indian Lake boat ramp. Take snacks and water, or the means to treat it, and expect to do a fair amount of climbing, and even some wading.
Facilities
Campgrounds, showers at Lake Celina.
