Introduction

Leonard Springs Nature Park packs a lot into its one mile loop trail; you’ll pass caves, springs, waterfalls, wetlands, and forest.

Trails

Begin at the gate that blocks vehicular access to the gravel road at one end of the parking area. When the trail forks near a cave entrance, turn right and descend a set of metal stairs past the springs and another cave entrance.

Keep going; you’ll cross a stream through nice woods before emerging next to an impoundment, where a small wooden platform affords views of the wetland. You’ll skirt the wetland before ascending through a pinery, then connect with the gravel road you started on for the return leg.

Facilities

None.
