Introduction
Conrad Savanna is a large oak savanna fragment bisected by a county road. The bulk of the preserve lies to the north of County Road 700 North, but toward the west it straddles the road.
Oaks dominate, with sassafras and bracken in the understory, though the area south of the road seems to exhibit somewhat more diversity in its mix of trees.
Trails
There is no official trail, but the relatively open understory - depending on the interval since the last controlled burn - makes getting around fairly easy.
Facilities
None.
