Osgood Carnegie Public Library, on west Ripley Street. Dedicated 21 August 1914. According to Ripley County History 1818-1988, the Carnegie Corporation gave $9,000 to aid in the construction of this library.

Tyson Methodist Temple, 1937. 324 West Tyson Street, Versailles. This remarkable structure uses a great deal of aluminum and cost $150,000 to erect. It was dedicated on 16 May 1937. Construction costs were paid by Versailles native James H. Tyson, who was treasurer of the Walgreens Drug Store Chain. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places. |
