This remarkable structure uses a great deal of aluminum and cost $150,000 to erect. It was dedicated on 16 May 1937. Construction costs were paid by Versailles native James H. Tyson, who was treasurer of the Walgreens Drug Store Chain. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
