The Independent Order of Odd Fellows Hall 463 in Boswell bears a date of 1896. It sits at the northwest corner of Adams and Main in downtown Boswell. The lodge is no longer active, and the building has been used for other purposes. Faint white lettering on the left side of the upper two stories spells out "Dry Goods", and the marquee over the street entrance says "Nern's Antiques". During my 2003 visit it wasn't clear whether the antique store was a going concern or a storage space. This view is from the southeast. |
