Location: Southwestern Indiana, bordered on the northwest by Gibson County, to the north by Pike County, to the northeast by Dubois County, to the east by Spencer County, to the south by Kentucky, and to the west by Vanderburgh County.

Population: 52,383 (2000 Census)

Cities & Towns: Boonville (county seat, 6,834, 91st largest city in the State); Chandler (3,094), Newburgh (3,088), Lynnville (781), Elberfeld (636), Tennyson (290)

Named For: Jacob Warrick, who fought in the War of 1812.
