Warren County is located in western Indiana, bordered on the north by Benton County, to the east by Tippecanoe County, to the east and south by Fountain County, to the south by Vermillion County and to the west by Illinois.
It has an area of 365 square miles and during the 2000 Census had 8,419 residents.
Williamsport (2000 Census population of 1,935) is both the largest city in Warren County and the County Seat.
Other cities and towns include West Lebanon (793), Pine Village (255), and State Line City (141).
The county was named for General Joseph Warren, killed in the Revolutionary War.
