Population: 14,566 (2000 Census)

Cities & Towns: Kentland (county seat, 1,822, 224th largest city in the State); Roselawn (3,933), Morocco (1,127), Goodland (1,096), Brook (1,062), Lake Village (855)

Named For: Sargeant John Newton, a hero of the Revolutionary War.
