Stinesville

Stinesville Indiana (2000 population = 194) is a tiny settlement located near the center of Bean Blossom Township, in extreme northwestern Monroe County. It lies about 2 miles north of Indiana 46, about 4 miles east of Spencer, and about 3 miles south of Gosport. Jack's Defeat Creek runs through the town on its way to Beanblossom Creek. There are no State Highways serving Stinesville, but a railroad connecting Gosport with Ellettsville and Bloomington passes through town.
