Cities: Brooklyn Brooklyn Brooklyn (2000 Population = 1,545) is located just east of Indiana Highway 67 in Clay Township, Morgan County. White Lick Creek passes just east of town. A post office was established in 1856, though the area was settled much earlier. The origin of the town's name is not clear.
