Cities: Ambia Ambia Ambia Indiana (2000 population = 197) is located in Hickory Grove Township, in extreme southwestern Benton County. The town was laid out in 1875 by Ezekiel Talbot and his wife. Ambia lies about a half mile east of the Illinois border and about a mile south of the North Fork of the Vermillion River.
